THE SCHOOLS IN AKATSI SOUTH DISTRICT.

Education is always a relevant tool in the development of any society in the world. GHANA as nation has set Education as a priority and so does the Akatsi south district in the Volta Region of Ghana.

It is always said that '' to whom much is given, much is expected''. Much of the resources of Ghana has been moved towards the development of the human resources of the COUNTRY. This is through the building of basic schools,senior high schools and universities. 

Over the years, Akatsi south district has also benefited from these developments. Schools were built even remote villages. Schools feeding programs were also introduced to motivate the children to go to school. BUT, KPOYEGA BASIC SCHOOL?
The kpoyega  Basic school is located in Akatsi south district. A member school of the Gefia circuit. The school has a population of about 120 pupils including the teachers.Classroom blocks of the school look like traps. From information gathered, a contract was signed for the building of new classroom blocks before the 2016 general elections, but the contracted never came back to continue work after the elections.
was it just flash for votes from the villages or a real deal? We the citizens wants the real answer not the political answer.
